Headline for Book Review: Filling the holes in your life with Christ
QUOTE: “I wrote this book because I see a great need among believers. I find us moved by the idea of doing big things for God, but I see life holding us back from it. We doubt that God can use us. We don’t understand the true purpose of our life outside of the roles we play on an everyday basis.”
Lisa Whittle tells how we all can heal ourselves to become all that God wants us to be in order to glorify Him.
“What seems a hindrance becomes a way.” By Henri Nouwen
We all want to share our own life stories and want them to matter right? I know I do. I am trying to find my own life purpose and for my story to be written. I also want what I write to matter to others or to resonate with others. But first we have to know we have a story that will make a difference in the lives of others.
The bottom line is that if you put God first then your story will appear. Lisa had gone through a horrible ordeal with her father and he was a popular preacher too! As the story unfolds you will want to keep turning the pages as her father’s story becomes her story and she heals in order to share the story with the world. This made her a whole person directed by God.
I would recommend this to anyone who would love to learn to heal their broken lives.
