I have an obsession with self help books and especially those books that have to do with codependency.  Guilty!   Like I need a fifth book on the subject!?  Darlene Lancer is a licensed marriage and family therapist with 25 years of experience which gives her the credibility to write on this wonderful topic.  She is also a consultant, author, and speaker on relationships and codependency.

Darlene Lancer gives you the tools you need to break the patterns of codependency.  Did you know that it is a learned behavior? This means it can be changed with motivation to change your behavior.  I have had this dis-ease of codependency in my past and really enjoyed this book.

The one thing that was so true for me at that time is I was a drinker and party girl who had a hard time accepting who I was and wanted to impresses others at my own expense.  I couldn’t make decisions for the life of me!  If you want to learn all about Coda then read this book which covers the history, symptoms, causes, and relationship dynamics of coda and lays out the plan to recover from it.

This is a book I will add to my collection of books!  I am so glad I bought it!  Let me know if you got it or read it and what you thought of it?  We can always discuss it too.
